Fix Steam/Gaijin linking

Recently spoke with support as I wanted to pick up Active Matter then transition to Steam at launch but was told I couldn't because Steam uses a separate profile and there is absolutely zero way to link it to my existing Gaijin account.

They tried to deactivate it so I can link it to my Gaijin account but it completely locks Gaijin games out from being playable on Steam in their entirety.

As a result, I've opted NOT to buy Active Matter at this time, if ever. I don't understand how every other company: Ubi, EA, Wargaming- hell, even EFT works cross platform - why do Gaijin struggle to implement simple account linking?

That's odd, my gaijin account can play on steam. Although to note if you made gaijin account using steam, but also made a gaijin account using the same email it creates two seperate account and you can't link a gaijin account to steam that have existing account, which become an issue. But if your steam have no account created yet you can link your gaijin account via account import.

The system have plenty of issue tho, like steam account can't login to gaijin website, among other things, which definitely need improvement and fixing.

But also to note again, I made my account long time ago now, so not sure if they screw the process up now.

I made a Gaijin account a while ago on Console, before switching to PC.
So it for some reason won't link them - it's so backwards.

Yeah console have a massive issue, especially if it's Playstation, not really sure why, but they really need to fix it

console Accounts cant be linked with steam. because they are console Accounts the limiting factor are the console companys thats why console accouts dont have access to the marketplace in wt for example
