#Why even progress to the last monolith level?

Just wondering why doing it. Blue door wipes everything, gives you a basic sleeve or a replicator slot, which does not really matter especially late game. Red door gives 250 CAM, which does not have any good way to spend ATM, and accelerating a global wipe. Why not just stop at second last level?

the self-wipe rewards carry over through wipes so for me at least it's worth it to permanently have an extra replicator forever. the other rewards are kinda whatever though, probably wouldn't prestige more than once

# severe pond the monolith can give you like, three replicators as I recall? Having one extra ...

I probably just play a lot, but I'm at lambda after playing a little over a week so I think monolith levels go pretty quick even if you're not buying them with CAM, so it isn't all that much of an investment to me. You can buy extra replicators at Zeta and Kappa but they both cost a lot of monolith tokens and you have to buy them every wipe going forward. I guess it all depends on how long you plan on playing the game

#

and luckily CAM doesn't really have a good use right now outside of buying monolith levels anyway. 50 CAM for a PVE raid pass is a lot and everything else you can buy with it is worthless (secure containers, 10k credits, beacons)

that takes us back to my original question. why dont we all stop at second last level. so no wipe at all. and we dont have to grind for pitty reward.

I'm not sure how to answer that. tbh I don't get why people used their first gate to vote for the wipe either aside from getting their name on the leaderboard. 😂

tbh the “leaderboard” is more like an A-hole board. It’s a list showing who worked hardest to trash our time and effort invested.

couldn't agree more man. There is literally no 'practical benefit' to unlock MU level.

#

i completed the monolith cycle once to get a free(and permanent) replicator slot which is quite nice, but I won't do it again and will stay at this point as long as possible since there is no actual reason to do so.

I don't think the self sacrifice rewards carry over through wipes do they

#

Think yall are reading the world permanently wrong if u self sacrifice they stay im almost 100% sure global wope wipes everything

That's completely dumb but ok

The point of self sacrifice is to get a permanent upgrade

No point to wipe at all in that case tbh new player will NEVER feel they have a fair even chance

It's not like my gun kills faster because I self sac'd Nor does it unlock any sleeves that would give a significant advantage on wipe

if you think a rep module and a slot is not a HUGE advantage you are absolutely fooling yourseld

Whether you want to wipe and reset is entirely your choice.

If you walk through the red door, you’ll be added to the list of future makers. However, you won’t lose your progress unless you voluntarily choose to wipe it. You keep everything you’ve earned, but you gain nothing new other than your place on the list.

The blue door, on the other hand, grants you a permanent upgrade, but does not put you on the list of future makers.

So Monolith tokens resets too ?
