I wanna get this game
If you played valhiem its that but as pirates. Only problem is its only 4 players or solo.
can have upto 8-10 by default
i am looking at making a 16 slot server, trying to arrange the resource for it
how is the game so far? Ive heard its blowing past Skull & Bones in terms of gameplay and etc

Dabbed into the game a bit and it feels like New World mixed with Valhiem theme.
8 is max. 4 is default. Anything over 6-8 is to many to play with. Due to most missions being shared someone would just push ahead without waiting.
Unless you turn missions share thing off

So the game is very good and well worth 30 bucks its very much a pirate verson of valhelm. Or to be more accurate it has the combat mechanisms of dark souls the guts of a survival game and combat reminiscent of black flag
I have seen a dedicated server host 20 ppl at once belt with some rules to limit the server resources usage
From what we've experienced, mission sharing only works if everyone has that mission unlocked and in the area. If you gotta visit a bunch of places and pick up stuff, everyone still needs to visit those places and pick up stuff. If they're offline, they won't get progress and have to do it themselves
And the scaling is super wild. I don't think its quite balanced. Almost feels like for every player it multiplies
Eg 4 players, health and damage is 4x
The idea is to play with other people. Yes they have to be online to get credit for the mission but at that point it would be better to just play solo or with the few on a private game.
