I struggle with my love/hate for this game. I would do PvE and PvP if there was a group that I could link up with….but some of the community servers are like shoot on sight and it gets old.

Just tossing in my 2 cents. I have a private personal dayz server. I have done a lot with the Expansion AI and Quests. I have like 70 Quests I have written out.

I used to run a server a couple years ago, th name was Apocalypse 2019, we are going to do a different name this time. The theme I think is going to be like Planet of the Apes. My wife just suggested Rebel's Universe.

Hi Frost, you are welcome to play on my server.

However, it is a lonely place. My other buddies have stopped playing and I have it just as a PvE/Quest/Survival situation.

There are Mercenary AI at helicopter crashes and in large Military bases that shoot on sight
AI Bandits/Raiders in 2 places
There are also friendly AI in "Survivor towns" you can recruit as party members.

NPC Quest Givers and unlockable NPC Quest Givers with unique quests.
A Bounty Board to give advanced attack AI raider hide outs (castles) with a tier system.
I have written 70ish quests in total and have repeatable ones by day and week.

Quests give items, there are no Traders. You get what you earn by helping the NPCs or looting.
Most quests have choices of items....
