It’s now more important than ever that we band together and stop this salvo from destroying our liberty.

New Enemies
The Illuminate threat has grown, unleashing new terrors on our citizens across the galaxy. Reports indicate the Illuminate have deployed larger, more powerful enemies within their fleet, among them are the Stingray: jetfighters that provide Illuminate support from the sky, targeting Helldivers and lining up devastating strafing runs. Another new foe is the Crescent Overseer, which has the ability to lay barrages on Helldivers in cover.

But perhaps most terrifying are the reports of a failed Illuminate experiment called the Fleshmob: a Frankenstein’s monster of Voteless parts turned into a brute battlefield force that the Helldivers must work hard to destroy.

There have been sightings of other, even larger ships, though details remain unclear on their abilities. But we can’t underestimate the squids, divers, and that’s why we’re assembling our best and brightest to push them back into oblivion where they belong.

We have to gather all our resources to face this incursion and, fortunately, Super Earth’s R&D department has unlocked some powerful tools for our Helldivers, in the hopes that they will help crush the onslaught of Illuminate invaders.

SEAF is planetary defense, while hell divers are shock troops.

Note that the Helldivers Corps is technically a part of SEAF. As Taylor said, they are basically the shock troops, but also used like paratroopers, dropping behind enemy lines and disruption enemy activity there.

Regular SEAF forces just have infantry, artillery, armored vehicles and CAS support like a regular military force. They are the ones holding the main frontline, and occupying/taking enemy territory

The beauty of the game is being able to throttle your experience. Too difficult go down a diff level, too easy go up. I personally throttle my experience when new stuff comes out so I have a pleasurable delivery of democracy

for the hive lord, it needs to have a cake approach. You can either ignore it or kill it.

but it actively attacks you, so you cannot ignore it

so you must kill it, but doing so is impractical

not to mention the constant 1 hit attacks with rediculous AoE

fuck give me a mission objective or a side quest to do it. BOOM problem solved!

Tried lvl 10 for first time fighting the bugs. It was a chaotic experience to say the least, but I think I'll stick to 6 or 7, too much stress for me. I love how streamers show videos of "lvl 10" missions, yet there is so much time where they aren't totally surrounded or being attacked by bugs, I'm pretty sure that they a full of crap or using some kind on mod to slow the spawns, even the boost doesn't slow it down that much.

Slow the spawns no, you can only alter your armor cosmetics, your ship's look and some VXF.

They're either really used to playing these missions or yeah they might have a mod that changes the look of a level 5 mission to look like a level 10 super helldive for views 🤷

generally, i spec anti swarm. but i found the railgun to be a solid balance

with the pred strain and rupture, id recommend no less than medium AP

you can get away with light on standard bugs

Oh and the Halo one too but meh, not an Halo fan to begin with 🤷

Force of Law is really rempting because I love electric weapons, the grenade launchers looks to be good, Dust Devil has the gas spear weapon and the coyote that seem to be powerful..

Truth enforcer is nothing really special

Viper commandos has the armor, which is a good set for HMG, but nothing really much stands out

Force of law was great at fist but im finding to be very inconsistent nowadays

Control group isnt special aside from the backpack. but its very situational and only really good for grinding

Hold off on dust devils, i suspect AH wont let that go un-nerfed (or buy in if you want immediate stimulation)

Honestly, napalm barrage, one of the eagle strikes (I use either the airstrike or cluster for aoe) either a spear or a mech for heavy support and gataling turret as either a support or throw away to help me get away from the bugs
