Thats a very valid point. However, I do offer this: There is always some level of uncertainty of longevity with games, as you never know when it's going to bottom out. There seems to be a lot of continued support for the game, and seeing consistantly high player count (100k+ or more at any given time) on it after the initial 2 weeks.

Also, Sections would be start at 4 people, and you could have up to 12, and the SL would have them in "fire teams". I definitely have brain stormed how this would work out for us and how to structure it so that it would be successful

Honestly I think this game would force other sections to disban with the number of players that have it lol.

I guess no one knew it was a requirement including myself down the road. It was overlooked due to ā€œtechnical issuesā€ at launch. Obviously who knows what the real reason no one knew. But at launch it did say psn account required on the steam page.

I think this is a multifaceted issue with PSN attempting to make a name in the pc market where I think Sony will start with congruent releases instead of remastering games for the pc port. Aswell as having more control on the player base moving forward. I donā€™t think Sony truly expected Hd2 to turn into an almost cult classic over night.

But this is an exciting time for gaming drama with battle state and Sony both trying some things that are not so great.

My largest conundrum with this problem is the fact that some players will lose access to their game due to region issues with PlayStation network where some players donā€™t have access to PlayStation network due to the country theyā€™re in, but they were able to purchase it over. steam makes us a huge issue for mebecause it shows that digital product ownership doesnā€™t mean much I guess

Really at the heart of this whole issue is true digital ownership not whether or not youā€™re in compliance with account rules because now the real issue is some players will lose access to the game

Another weird thing to note is on Sony's FAQ about PC games, it does say do you need a PSN account to play Playstation studio games, and it said you didn't need one. Granted this game did say day 1 that you'll require an account.
