#Reaching out to a Youtuber

So we all know the game isn't the largest ww2 fps out there, so i've found a way to maybe revive the game a little. There is this Youtuber called Rye, and he reviews dead/small community games. I'm thinking maybe if some Rats reach out to him, we could host a little event with him for a video.

I'd be 100% up to support this

Bluedrake42 and Boogie5 are YouTuber I have knowledge of playing the game and have showcased it on their channel

kindred sage
#

if I am not wrong, bluedrake42 one was quite... bland

#

just "sneaking" into a town and then blowing AIs with HE charges

#

everyone can agree thats no "spec ops" thing to do

#

just your regular "they are not here yet to defend" scenario

#

we really need to get people togheter and create some kind of massive battle for the cameras

#

I am talking HC working at its fullest

#

players running around

#

arty duty

#

planes flying and ships dunking it out on the sea

#

panzers rolling into town and getting sapped

#

stuff like that

#

not "eh, lets go around to that city and blow some AIs"

#

We can pull this off

#

we just need to reach out, plan an event ahead of time and have everyone be on

#

CRS gets everyone all kits available, like a free weekend

#

and bam you have a nice battle going on

#

plot the clueless youtuber in the middle, better yet, take him for a ride

#

and them throw him in the middle of the firefight

i don't think Rye (the youtuber i suggested) is as interested in the money as he is in the experience. because i dont think any of his videos are ever sponsored/payed for, he usually just gets some people to play with him for the experience, and spread the word about the game

#

so that's why i thought he would be a good pick: not only would he do it for free if he thought our game was good enough, he might even help us a lot by playing it

#

he has 200k subs and 36 million views on his channel

#

so people will learn about this game quickly, and from a good source too

#

in case if you wanted to reach out to him

#

i'll start asking him

#

sometime

kindred sage
#

Have you started talking to him?

#

I can do so if you want

#

We don't really need CRS for these kinds of things

#

Yeah sure they can organize events better but we can work this out too

#

CRS hasn't made a post here so I doubt they care

#

Surely hope so

#

At least that they are reading this

#

Either way, let's jump the gun and reach out by ourselves

kindred sage
#

yeah

#

was thinking about 2.0 too

honest dagger
#

yea, alr i'll reach out soon

Hi, gents, we have several various YT influencers we work with that range from large to small emerging channels. This is one of the roles that I have within CRS and reaching out to influencers.salute

I don't know if it's worth contacting to one of the big YouTubers... but his YouTube channel is Nano. He makes funny videos. He has a million subscribers. I have seen his video recently - it's about Gates of Hell (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX2hB2HvaCE&t=261s). Gates of Hell isn't really... a good looking game but it has RTS elements to it, and in his video he's having fun with it. Perhaps it's worth contacting him? If he knew the huge scalability WW2OL offers... I'm sure he would love to give it a go

Nano is a funny as hell guy
It would be surprising to see him make a video about ww2ol

pretty much all youtubers only review games if you pay them and their channels are therefore soulless and only attract bug men that quickly lose interest

honest dagger

ah

#

i dont think the rats would pay them tho
