To change the colour of individual words or letters, highlight the word/letters in the text box and then select Fill and choose your colour.

If the colour behind the text is created by using Shape in the Effects then you would need to go into the Shape menu to change the Fill colour.

I just tried this method in AE beta, it works, on the other hand you can only modify the colors individually by letter or group of letters, if you want AI generation mode on a single letter, all the text will be modified without holding color count.

Yes, thats clear so far, but my question was if you can change the fill colour in one text field in different colours. for example in your text: "lets copy" with the fill colour green and "this text" with the fill colour red. Do you know what I mean?
