I might be the only person to notice or really to say something about it but usually i see roblox fnf games "replicate" other engine's icon bounces when it turns out to just be the same for the most part.

Im pretty sure this is possible as well bc the EXE icon bop was decently accurate, I also know that the kade engine one is basically just the week 6 and below base game engine, just that the framerate makes it look faster due to lack of elapsed time, but it doesnt go for 1 frame. Idk if this is good or not as nobody really see details and seeing it inaccurate bothers them.

I made a mockup to replicate how it is in P:AFN compared to the actual engines.

i will look into it later though to see if i can get it more accurate but i dont know if there's much i can do about it

the most notable difference though is anchor points

in afternight, all the bops start from center by default

#

while most engines make it left/right edge of icon to make them bop away from each other

And as i said with kade its basically the same with legacy fnf as well, just faster due to 120 fps instead of old fnf’s 60

the thing is, not for us

we use a custom sprite library minz built

the only icon bops in the game that do mess with it are golden apple and i think sonic.exe

exe uses anchor points but only because it doesn't rotate at all

any bop that rotates will fuck up if we include the anchor points

including modcharts

because while haxe can rotate around itself while it has an anchor point, we cannot

Like i tried making roblox fnf engines but i dont use studio so like im over here contemplating what folder to use for shit (only thing i used studio alot was for making realistic ceiling fan models from 2017-2023)

Im usually willing to have someone help me expand my lua knowledge to roblox as its a little different

Only lua shit i did mostly was for my 2 year old mod and im still updating it

to be fair our systems a lot more advanced than just using roblox instances (sprite class, character class, both being extremely complicated and a lot more advanced than base roblox images & characters) but it comes at a cost of needing to figure out stuff yourself sometimes
