Hi everyone,
So I've been having real trouble trying to get things working.
System Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060Ti
64Gb Kingston Beast DDR4
OS: Windows 11 Pro
Version: Y4S2 (Phantom Sight)
I have my files set up for Y4S2, but when I run R6 Liberator (v0.0.0.22), it briefly shows "Game Type Selected" or "Active" for a few seconds before cycling back to "Idle." Consequently, I cannot get the game to launch through the tool.
Current Setup & Steps Taken:
Permissions: I am running Liberator as Administrator. (I have tried running it without admin privileges as well)
Exclusions: The entire folder is excluded from Windows Defender to prevent file interference.
Does anyone know why Liberator might be dropping back to "Idle" immediately?
With a 3900X, should I be expecting a crash on the splash screen due to core count, or would that only happen after the game actually initialises?
Is there anything obviously wrong with my file structure that would prevent the tool from "hooking" correctly?
Is my approach correct? I have tried the following variations:
-
I start the game, go to the "Local" menu, then tab out and run Liberator (as admin), select the game mode I want, then go back into the game and try to open T Hunt. Nothing. It just says that it's unavailable offline.
-
I run Liberator as admin, select the game mode I want (It says "game mode selected" for about 3 seconds, then just says "idle..."), then start the game up and try and run a local game. For T hunt is still just says unavailable offline. There is some sort of indicator at the top of the page that appears to show the game thinks I am offline.
Liberator is saying that it can see the game as it identifies the game build correctly, but when I try and actually run it, it doesn't seem to be able to do anything?
I have attached a few screenshots so that you can see what I am looking at.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks all
T
