Hi everyone, I need some help.

I've downloaded the Y10S1 Prep Phase build using the downloader and I'm trying to run it on Windows 11.

Even though I have the files in the correct folder, whenever I run the LaunchR6.bat (as admin), I get the Ubisoft error: 'Your installation appears to be missing files. Please verify your installation in Uplay.'

What I've tried so far:

Confirmed that RainbowSix.exe, upc_r2_loader64.dll, and ThrowbackLoader.toml are in the same root folder.

Completely closed all Ubisoft/Steam processes via Task Manager.

Added the entire game folder to Windows Defender exclusions.

Tried using both ThrowbackLoader and Helios (with the correct upc_r2 DLL for Y10S1).

The game is located on a secondary SSD (D:), not in the OneDrive/User folders.

Has anyone faced this on Windows 11 with the newer builds? Any specific bypass or DLL override I'm missing?

Also please provide a clear description of your issue and attach screenshots or videos if possible.

After you have done everything you can, wait until a Helper assists you. This may take a while since they may be busy or away.

I will give you 3 files, giv me a moment because i need to edit a couple values

here are the 3 files
download them anywhere except your game folder

📎 0_run_game_checker.bat 📎 filechecker_Game.ps1 📎 hashes_Y10S1_PrepPhase.txt

after you are done downloading
run the 0 ... bat file
choose the txt file you downloaded and then your gamefolder aka Y10S1

I'm trying to follow your instructions, but the attachments (DLL files and bat script) in your last message are not loading for me. I can't download them.

Could you please try uploading them again, maybe in a ZIP file? Or if you have them mirrored anywhere else (like a cloud drive link), that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! I managed to download the files using the Discord web version (the desktop app was bugging out).

I’ll try setting them up now following your instructions. I'll let you know if it works!

I ran the checker pointing specifically to D:\R6 Replay Downloader\Downloads\Y10S1_PrepPhase (where my RainbowSix.exe is located).

However, it's still returning 'Hash mismatch' for almost everything, including tool files like DepotDownloader.exe and 7z.exe which are in that directory. It seems the script is checking for files that shouldn't be part of the core game or the structure is different from what the .txt expects.

Out of 482 files, 441 matched (or failed to match correctly). Should I move the game files to a completely clean folder without the downloader tools and run it again? Or is my hash file possibly corrupted?

ehm yes your game should be in it's own folder
not sure why you would put all other tools in your game folder

Hi again! I’ve performed a deep troubleshooting session and here are the results:

File Integrity: I ran the game checker and got 442/447 matches. The only 5 mismatches are the loader files (ThrowbackLoader.toml, LaunchR6.bat, etc.), which confirms the 51GB of game data is 100% intact.

DLL Setup: I have upc_r2_loader64.dll (from the Throwback resources) in the game folder, and I’ve already 'Unblocked' it in the Windows file properties.

Network/Firewall: I created Outbound Rules in the Windows Firewall to strictly block both upc.exe and RainbowSix.exe. My goal was to force Offline Mode since the new Ubisoft Connect UI doesn't show the 'Go Offline' option anymore.

The Issue: Despite the files being verified and the network being blocked, I am still getting the 'Missing Files / Sua instalação parece ter arquivos ausentes' error from Ubisoft.

I'm on Windows 11. Is there a specific registry key, a cache folder I should clear, or perhaps a legacy version of the Ubisoft/Uplay client that I need to use to bypass this check?
