u might have wrong cracks, get cracks from #guides-and-faqs go to y1sx-y6s2, select all files inside it, paste them in your shadow legacy folder, launch rainbowsix (THE BAT FILE) and let it launch

it’s likely that it is removing files and dependencies from your game, either remove your av or make an exclusion to all old r6 related directories/files

once you have done that; rerun the downloader on the season you’re attempting to play (don’t delete anything) this will verify the integrity of your install and will redownload any missing files

i downloaded shadow legacy after like the 9th time and put in the cracks inside of the folder again for the 9th time and then it just randomly worked. Im not an avid computer user since I just got it recently fixed but i quite literally did the same thing over and over again and then it just worked.

i already had the anti virus and the exclusion off before you said it too

windows defender will automatically turn itself back on after a short amount of time, can you show me the exclusion path you have setup?
