why cant i connect my steam to downloader?

i know for a FACT i keep typing in my password correctly. its still not connecting to steam account for some reason, and is consistently having connection timeout issues as well.

I was able to get it to work by repeatedly trying. It's tedious, but it's the only solution I've found

Servers on Steam's side were the issue

so it works again now but it was just simply down for a while before

i got it to connect to steam consistently but it drops the connection

i think siege or steam messed with the depots the installer uses

the way the downloader works is to connect to steam servers to download a older verison of the game stored on there servers

but the place the game was in changed

and the downloader didnt update

i can get it to connect to steam servers maybe like 15% of the time

but even when i do it just says invalid password when i know for a fact im typing it in correct

i dont compeletely know if its a manifest issue, but steam was buggy on the downloader

and manually downloading it seemed to work 100% of the time

An update to the downloader is being worked on, but it has to be refined before public release

That's bc steamkit was receiving dead steam servers from the steam api = won't work

Manual download will work but over half of the people don't know how to download it manually
