What is Spacewar?

A game called spacewar shows up in steam when I open old siege. Google tells me it's a trojan. This is sketching me out, any explanation?

im just confused about why it shows up as running when i open old siege. I know im probably just being paranoid, but i wanted to make sure its safe

Spacewar was a small game made by valve i think for testing their online system, so it's likely just using it only for siege to be played via steams servers
