Coinbase commerce has turned to shit; as a business before their 'revamp', it was great; now, as a user, I've had to spend $20 total to get $10 in credits on Openrouter.
Before revamp: My wallet -> Pay merchant
After revamp: My wallet -> CB 'smart wallet' -> Pay merchant
Fees multipled by 2.
Explore cryptomus, or hoodpay both good and trusted replacements without all this BS coinbase is doing.

that doesn't make sense - wouldn't they be swapping your eth to the Base chain when you do the first transaction? the second one (from your CB wallet to us) would then be very tiny fees, it's on Base. might even be paid for by CB

unless i bridge to base, it quotes me one single small fee if i try to use by non-Base ETH
