Error calling Open Router API: 'choices' | OpenRouter | Page 1

Hi,

OpenRouter API returns me often the following output: "Error calling Open Router API: 'choices'"

I tried to create a fallback but that hasn't worked... how to handle these errors? This happens randomly and from what I know, it happens to any models selection.

I use Claude 3 Opus more often if that make a difference.. but I remember having seen this using other models.

hey there - do you have the full error log?

There will be time when we send down an empty choices array with an error metadata in the payload

esp when the upstream provider errored out early
