I can get behind the cortex nerf, but the only reason is because the amount of time your in the transformation takes way to long to get out of. The character lock on the other hand is just a bad idea altogether because I love playing as coco, and I donât want to be force to change my hero because of a limit.

That's why Overwatch to me is terrible.
Imagine not being able to play a character you like.
That's outdated and definitely would be something that would kill a game like Crash Team Rumble.

There was overwhelming amount of negativity with the event limitations.
What do you think is gonna happen when they start limiting which characters you can play in a match?
This game already has somewhat of a problem finding games and now you are essentially making it worse.
Characters like Crash,Coco and Cortex are extremely popular in the Crash Bandicoot series.Searching and starting a game would be x10 more worse.
This was also a major fan concern before the launch.

Totally agreed with crashbeyond, there's no point to put limitations on characters, if u find an annoying cortex , just rq then, there's no way all of gamers need to be punished cuz u can't deal with cortex

This works when coordinated. 3 Cortexes in theory shouldnât work properly but his kit has a lot, making him already versatile anyway. He has some counterplay but that all comes down to you and your own teamâs choices in order to counter him in-game.
Also check OW2 lol. Locking heroes behind single use is among the harshest criticisms people have pointed out all in favour of the competitive side.

Name of the game is chaos and stupidity. If you donât have those, your game is boring (depending on what the game is styled around).

Not to mention this would be a horrible decision if you wanted to just focus on one characters challenges for a while.
Belive me, I hate Cortex as much as the next guy, or like any comp where the enemy team is being super aggressive at killing players, but it doesn't come up all that often to justify a change like this. Just quit that match and find another.
