#Optional Network Latency Display

other online games show this before a match, so I think it'd be easy to implement
They should at least let you see the ping in the pause menu on the lobby screen if they don't already
Me managing to pick Crash on 100+ ping matches every single time:
other titles show it live directly changing in gameplay
would be good if it was possible to see the latency permanently and not just when you look at the scoreboard midmatch, multiversus for example shows the latency permanently in the corner of the screen so you always have a live indicator of how it's looking like when there's a lagspike for example
yeah ngl, knowing how bad the network connectivity of a player is important
it sucks to go up against BS things, such as knock back not counting, getting flattened a mile away etc
They do oddly enough, but only once you're in the match
Not stated anywhere that it shows ping on pause, I only found out cause I saw @shy epoch stream during the tournament and pointed it out
Yeah can confirm, but let’s be honest, it’s inconvenient
It really is, I wish there was an option to have it be part of the hud or something
Also looking at the ping makes me realize just how bad the net code for this game is, constantly in the high 40-60s with it spiking to 100 at times
I'm on Ethernet and on any other game im in the low 20s-30
People watch me?
I do atleast lol, I was zonic321 in the stream chat
You answered some of my questions too
Oh neat, haha
Glad I could teach or help at some juncture
But yes. I agree with this suggestion.
I typically only look when something outrageous happens and I die for it
Then I'm like 112?!?!?!?
Exactly! What even causes the spikes? I know it's not my internet because it ONLY happens on ctru
Mine are usually consistent, if its 112, it'll stay that but I reckon its just gotta he the players I'm playing
Cause my net is very stable (outside of maintenance) so its just gotta be a region thing
20/30 is the ping when you play in closest dedicated servers to your location. For this you see that in many games.
Rumble doesn’t have dedicated servers , so in the best conditions ( host close to your location and if your connection is good), you see 40/50.
Isn't competitive mode supposed to be dedicated tho?
No , rumble are not dedicated servers. The only improvement they did from NF is host migration. Now the game doesn’t end for all if the host quits. Just this
up because relevant
