I can see this being a good alternative to having no bots at all. If bots could be opt-in it would be great for those people with few friends or who live in an area with few players. At the same time those who don't want bots can still play the game without bots (with all of its consequences).

What I’m not fine with is that bots are serverside
Given how bad this games NetCode is, nothing feels quite as bs as a bot hitting you with an attack that hasn’t even come out yet

True, especially since they’ve improved them this season. Bot Crashes slide spinning through lag/delay is an experience.

I had 3 bots zerg our bank cause I was just about half health on the blues map, it was legit kinda terrifying having to fight them all... They're becoming coordinated

Maybe expand the “inactivity timeout” to include moving in one direction indefinitely, or pressing only one button consistently
