Can someone help with my dyanmic island

So im on iphone 8 plus ios 16.7.10 and used nugget to get dynamic island and it worked but when there is nothing being used for the dynamic island it looks like a rectangle shape just wondering any way to fix this

there's no way to fix it since dynamic island's corners rounds to how round your screen is

since the iphone 8's screen corners is just a rectangle, the dynamic island will also be a rectangle
