#screen time bugs

screentime agent only removes the app limits not downtime (if you already have it enabled)
but
theres a method that ive done which isnt practical but ive removed all restrictions
reset your phone and do the tweak before you sign back into icloud
note that you can ignore the reseting phone steps if you dont have downtime
if you only have app limits use the tweak when all of your phone is unlocked
if you want to get rid of downtime and you will do absolutely anything to get rid of it;
make an encrypted backup
factory reset your phone (preferably itunes or apple devices)
now setup your phone as usual up until icloud
DO NOT SIGN INTO ICLOUD
continue setup without signing into icloud.
once you are on the home screen now do the tweaks
now when you sign in back into icloud you should not have any restrictions on your phone
The apps I used show 52 minutes on screen time even though I just used them for a very short time.
not much i can do with that but if you have strict parents or sum update to the beta and disable UsageTracking daemeon and say its a bug with the new beta they will fix it later when its fully released
all up to you
If I sign back into icloud can I restore from a backup?
the backup is going to be on your computer device so you dont have to signin to icloud (unless you made a backup with icloud then you have to signin to icloud to restore the backup)
only restore the backup when something went wrong
Okay so I should restore using my pc?
Thanks man
no problem,
if you made the backup with a pc then yes
