Hello all,
I have an iPhone 13 mini and for about 8 months (since nugget was on v2.0 or something) I was using the dynamic island and always on display tweaks on iOS 18.1 (build 22B5045g, dev beta 4/public beta 1). I recently removed those tweaks because my phone was getting very very slow and hot all the time, and updating to 18.4 fixed the problem for me. I made a mistake when I decided to just update the phone through settings, thinking that since the MobileGestalt tweaks don't work on 18.4, it would just remove everything. It did remove the dynamic island and always on display, but the status bar was still that of the 16 Pro, so I had to go in there and click "remove all tweaks." This worked fine, except for one thing: my StandBy doesn't work. It never worked with the MobileGestalt tweaks anyway, but I thought it would come back after removing everything. Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, do y'all know how to fix it? Thanks so much.
PS. I should add that it definitely worked before the tweaks, and I have tried every possible method to get it to work now, and it's still broken. . StandBy is on in settings, it's connected to power, on its side propped up with the display locked, and allow access to lock screen widgets while locked is turned on in Face ID and passcode settings.. I did do the basic step of googling the issue and the only info I got is stuff I already know (forum posts from people who don't know how to use their phone.) Not to be a jerk but just putting that out there.
