I have an iPhone XR on iOS 17.6.1 and whenever I try to apply any changes, even if they are mobile gestalt or not I get an iTunes Encryption MDM error. My device hasnt and never had an MDM installed on it, I have tried following guides, as they say to reset all settings but that still shows the same error. This also shows on cowabunga lite.

Na, i found out the solution eventually a few hours ago, it was due to me restoring via icloud backup and it forces the backup to be encrypted. Resetting the device will remove it from being encrypted
