To restore to an unsigned IPSW file, there are two primary methods: using SHSH blobs or utilizing third-party software. Below are the detailed steps for each method.
Installing Unsigned IPSW with SHSH Blobs
Obtain SHSH Blobs:
Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes.
Click on the Serial Number field to reveal the ECID and copy it.
Repeat this for the Device Identifier.
Use a tool like TSS Saver to submit your ECID and Device Identifier to retrieve the SHSH blobs.
Prepare for Downgrade:
Ensure you have NonceSet 1112 installed on your computer.
Download the desired iOS firmware (IPSW) and the futurerestore tool, ensuring you have enough free space (9-10GB).
Install Unsigned IPSW:
Create a folder (e.g., c:/futurerestore) and place the futurerestore files along with the IPSW and SHSH2 blobs in it.
Use Notepad to find your generator key string from the SHSH2 blobs and enter it into the PhoenixNonce app.
Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command:
bash
futurerestore -t my.hsh2 -i signed.ipsw restoreto.ipsw

If you have the shsh blob for the specific version you want to downgrade for, then it does work.
