I have the "Continue where I left off" setting turned on, but when ever I full close out of the application and reopen it Zen completely wipes my tabs, and I cant get them back via "Reopen recently closed Window" and its no where to be seen in tab history. I am on the latest update for Zen on the M4 MacBook Pro running MacOS Tahoe 26.1. I have never had this issue until literally today

Get used to it. If you didn't close and then open the browser correctly, this can happen. It happened to me almost once a week. Then it disappeared for two months and reappeared again.

Open a new tab with about:profiles.
Find your default profile. Open Root Directory.
Close the browser.
From the \zen\Profiles\zw4tvyyq.Default (release)\sessionstore-backups folder,
copy one of the upgrade.jsonlz4-(alotofnumber) files. Look at the file date.
Move it to the root folder of the profile, for example, \zen\Profiles\zw4tvyyq.Default (release)
Rename the old sessionstore.jsonlz4 file to something else. Rename the new upgrade.jsonlz4 file to sessionstore.jsonlz4
Open your browser.
Hope that everything worked. If not, select the next upgrade.jsonlz4 file and repeat until the tabs return.

assuming you already reported that on the github issues page, this is something that should be taken care of, rather that get used to. good workaround tho
