Trying to update--redownloading causes two zen instances to appear in my Launchpad

Hello everyone,

Very happy with the browser, however every time I try to update, there is another Zen application created which does not have any of my saved configurations (profiles, etc)

Now I have both Zen and Zen Browser in my launchpad.

How can I fix this? Is there any documentation for how to properly update?

Do you mean every update creates another "Zen" icon or another "Zen" application? There should only be one ~/Library/Application Support/zen/

Also, how did you install Zen initially, via the Homebrew or directly from the dmg?

Did you check about:profiles (and/or the directory I mentioned)?

this is because the zen app was renamed from Zen Browser to just Zen

you can safely delete the one with the longer name
