That's zen's default behavior. We are viewing the same tab with two different windows. So the focused window will take priority over the non focused one. The greying out is to indicate that

if you want to delete all your current saves then you can go to about:config and search for zen.theme.picker.favorites and delete it entirely

if you want to delete a specific save from it then you can share that config with me for now and i can help you remove that perticular one

yeah those are paid apps which automatically apply zoom effects and mouse cursor before exporting, but this obs script does it in realtime with "almost" same effect minus the custom mouse cursor they add

tbh the best zen setup is simplistic zen with slightly more rounded corners if on Windows, then mods that add functionality to the browser like:

Zen Command Palette
etc.

they don't always have to modify the look and feel of your browser.

Quick Fix: Update Loop Workaround

Problem

Sine continuously attempts to update even when you're already on the latest version, showing error messages and mismatched version numbers.

Root Cause

Version format mismatch between local storage (2.3) and remote repository (2.3.0.0).

Solution

Update your JS/engine.json file to use the full semantic version format:

Before

How to Apply

1. Open JS/engine.json in your text editor
2. Change the version value to match the full format (e.g., "2.3.0.3")

It's actually good, because Nubulu uses JS+CSS; while Arc2.0 is pure CSS.
The combo of JS+CSS is perfect to design a theme, but can also be fatal to browser's performance. So comparatively, Arc2.0 is much more efficient while providing options to allow users to make browser look the way they like.

Yeah that's terrible. ATG used to use that, part of what made it really buggy. (it also used a JSON file at one point, also buggy)
When it comes to anything like that, you should use SessionStore.
It's what I rebuilt ATG in. It's the built-in data storage for the browser.

Hello @strong cedar , I found something that you might find interesting. So i had this issue that I found other people having on github, without a clear and consistent explanation for it's origin, it's the blur not working on most tabs, behind the sidebar in compact mod

after hours of searching and giving up, I've accidentally resolved the bug by changing zen.theme.content-element-separation in about:config, it was set to zero (because I decided to do so long ago)

after changing it to a value higher than 0, it seems like it restored the correct behavior

I don't know why it would be related but maybe it has something to do with the rounded corner of the website content zone, disappearing when the value is set to 0

Arc 2.0 has some weird flashy tab styling, not a fan. Tbh extra rounding on tabs for Windows is probably all thats needed to get a good setup. That and pinned extensions.

Hey, may i ask how can i get the transparency working on tabs? i followed the github tutorial and downloaded through sine mods, but even after enabling it in configs, google's page doesn't seem to go transparent.

Use Arc2.0 from Sine Marketplace for blur.

Thats what i switched to, but i still cant seem to get google.com to be transparent, as seen in some screenshots in this thread, i installed all the required mods from the github page too.

yes, i did, i have both transparent zen and zen internet installed

oh i got it working

had to reinstall zen internet

and one more thing, can i make the side panel wider? if so, how, im using it in compact mode

andd it broke again, i can't seem to pin zen internet on my bar, and without pinning it, i can't open it's menu

it seems that when i close zen after installing zen internet, and open zen again, it gets thrown away from the toolbar.

ok so what's happening is, when i use zen internet, i didn't pin it at first, and there was no way to access the extension, at least from every way i could try. so i had to uninstall, reinstall it and pin it so i could use it. used it, it was working. but i think something is going on with my sidebar sizing, and it hid zen internet, so i had to make the sidebar bigger to access it again.

but i don't get why i cannot access extension settings without pinning them

i still couldn't get transparency to work on compact mode but atp, idk if i wanna bother with it 😭

hmm, given you have Sine installed, why not join Sine server and discuss it there...

its a bug i just got it updating to latest 1.19.9b
