Thought I'd share my Zen config with the world!!
Thanks to anybody who had to put up with my dumb questions and helped me get my config to this point - I have almost no knowledge of CSS. (though I hope to by the end of next week...)
A majority of the CSS used comes from this post right here: https://discord.com/channels/1088172780480114748/1316720900539678780 as well as assorted snippets I've either found, or forced others to write for me. Most of these are located at the top of the userChrome - you are already using A Better, Zen Browser you should only need to copy these to get my appearance without totally resetting your userChrome.
Worth mentioning is the "fake blur" this config uses. This is more convenient to use, as you don't need to worry about your background making browser content unreadable. If you want this look, you will need to copy the CSS commented with "Fake Blur" near the top of the userChrome. You can either use my provided image, or add your own. This CSS will not apply blur to images, so you will need to use a third party tool to do so. Plenty of websites offer free tools. Obviously, the filepath will also need editing. I personally stored my browser background within the Chrome folder of my profile. You can also set a GIF/WEBP etc if you want to - if you find a cool option let us all know below!!
My CSS also removes the back and forward buttons. If you like this idea, you can instead use the Alt/Forward & Back arrow shortcuts to navigate websites. The reload button can be hid using the Customize Toolbar menu. If you want to leave things as is, simply comment that section with /*Anything here is now off!*/
All the userContent.css does is add transparency to Monkeytype. Only use this if you have set up "Fake Blur" or have "Real Blur".
If anybody is interested in any other assets for desktop etc, lmk and I can send them through. Just didn't think this was the right place to share GNOME Extensions ๐
