Tabs not retained at startup and pinned tabs confused between workspaces

Just as the title says, i lost all my tabs on startup a while back and tabs are not retaining ever since and issues with pinned tabs showing in the wrong workspaces as well

Can you try a new profile? Maybe it got corrupted in the new update

the relevant setting is enabled as well. and im on the latest a.19 version as well

well i updated yesterday and it was working well enough until a while back

how do i create a new profile, if you dont mind me asking

This is an issue that sometimes just reoccurs, but this time the tabs syncing across windows may have broken more people's profiles

Go to about:profiles

You should see Create new profile button

ok tabs seem to be retaining in this new profile

That's good, you can move your chrome folder to the new profile to bring back your themes and stuff

And then use Firefox sync to bring back your other data

fk me....i just realised why it broke. there was another instance of the browser running in a separate windows desktop.

now its saving all my tabs in the default workspace
