Zen Nautilus

I've been a user of Zen for around 2 months now as a graphic designer; and I wanted to pitch in my vision on what the new logo could look like! I go into more detail in the explanation image, but as a TLDR the basic idea is that the icon is still recognizable with the same color scheme and 3 elements ( plus, it kinda looks like the "Z" was pinched and turned into a spiral)... but with a nautilus!

the orientation of the shell feals wrong. idk its not symetrical (i know thats how the shell is supposed to look but it feels lop sided )

i like how mincraft somehow made theres still feel like a circle

i see what you mean but making it more circular was not my intention. I instead focused on the fibonacci sequence that is found naturally on shell. which is took multiple references of geometrically. are you suggesting changing the rotation of the icon?

also if i kept the same style but made it more like the minecraft shell i think it might make it look very similar to the chrome logo

I like the concept of Fibonacci, however it is difficult to grasp the relationship with Zen (I know that the golden ratios imply harmony and balance, but it is less obvious)

Likewise, the very curved spiral shapes tend to remind me of slightly old logos like those of DebianOS, or TrisquelOS...

Maybe it would look more "modern" in a polygonal style?

Maybe make it a little more similar to a Yin Yang figure?

I could see this, I'd have to play around with making something more polygonal without looking like a mess when it is at a smaller scale which can be quite tricky.
