Normally the pitchfork is not 100 %, fresh, it has some damage. That has happened to me, several times. This «item stats» can’t be seen through the UI.
If you take the item to the workbench, and repair, the you validate this issue.

what do you mean you cant see an items durability in the ui? Thats what this lil blue bar is. If full blue bar, no durability has been lost yet

For me, it's like 0,1 % "damage" at it's not visible as you show here. This make it unsellable, befor repair. I know about the blue underline, but insegnificant damage are not visible, you see, and prohibit selling to ventors. This are my experience.
