The new swamp bridge is, a nice touch. Sadly, its not quite elevated to allow easily getting up, without climbing onto it. Dont forsee npcs making use of it, at least not efficiently. Suggest changing its elevation at the displayed end. Also suggest altering the other end, slightly, as it has a climb up as well, but not as high.

also, hard to tell from this angle, but we are floating above the bridge, rather than being on it. the bounding box seems to be a bit large
Made a report, should be fixed in the coming patches
I was about to write about the bridge too, in my case it spawned very close to an existing village and buildings, as a player I dont need it and npcs have their path blocked. Any chances to maybe make it destroyable or salvageable in the future?
Thats rather unlikely but ill pass the suggestion on to the rest of the team
Thanks, you can possibly tag it as a young tree so it gives little wood when chopped and despawns 🙂
I like the idea but those bridges should be placed only on water parts, on land they make little sense and block the whole area for building
I also noticed that NPCs are not using the makeshift bridges.
Thats just it, that IS water. just very shallow on either end, so doesnt slow you down much/at all. The entire area there, is water ^-^
Cuz they dont know how to climb yet, so they cant even get up on it. Well, this one at least. there are others. ^-^
big part of them are placed directly on land above grass and shallow water parts are only in few places
Guess we havnt explored enough to find more out of place yet. its on our list tho
I have a village there and kinda like the idea that swamp should be an area difficult to move in
i think it would be better to just give player an option to place them like roads or fences instead of hard placing them on map
but the briges are for the npcs, not you ;c
Map updates, are going to cause things to move around, its just how it be.
our whole village is "ruined" now, due to the vegetation movement
But npcs cant use it not to mention climbing, it also totally breaks their pathfinding. Its more for player than npc
