Firstly I wanted to say that I've been thoroughly enjoying what this game has become over time and I've been reccomending it to any that ask. It's such a fun idea and far more detailed than I would of expected!

With that said, I think theres a common request within the community and that is the timescale being either slowed or players given options.

Before coming here, I did some searching of my own and this request has been asked numerous times not only on Discord but Steam itself. These posts are being reacted to on discord and awarded numerous times on steam which to me is a clear sign of support to the given feedback suggestion and demand for such a feature. Simply search this very forum regarding time and you'll see numerous requests.

Your game is so well put together and immersive, it's so unfortuante the days fly by at a rate that it's clear many would prefer some form of control over. If this breaks a boatload of things backend then that's understandable and unfortuante, I just think many of us here agree that we'd much like the opportunity to play the game at our own pace even if that forces the game to be more of a grind regarding everything else script wise.

Please let us enjoy your game in a more immersive manner. Thank you and happy holidays to everyone that contributed to the project so far.

I'd say having a day length option slider is a good idea.

Multiples time scale adjustment could be cool
First, the day length but it would probably need to adjust the food duration
Then the season/year duration but also it would need to adjust food deterioration duration especially in early game it would be
Also, changing the time duration would change the feeling of scale of the game.
Currently you need at least 3 in game days to go from north to south, witch means that it would be something like 120km.

Why do you need 3 ingame days to go across the map? I'm pretty sure you can travel al the way from Bardsford to Crasmere within a single light day.
As for food durations, I think they should be tied to ingame time. So like "berry lasts 4 ingame hours no matter how much time those ingame hours take in real world hours"
