There should be an ability to move a village building, at the start you have to drop your village in any order to get materials and items being made. Later on in the game you want to place the village and make it look better but destroying and rebuilding just isnt plausible for a full village to allow builds to continue happening at the same time as collecting resource to rebuild. Add a feature to just pick up and move a built area already to allow you to move your village about to suit as you progress and grow.

This gets requested a lot. Honestly I would be happy with just a temporary change to give 100% refunds until a more proper system is implemented, I doubt anyone would have a problem with this.

100% especially considering the cost of the Tier 3 buildings and having to disassemble then rebuild its wild.

I mean town infrastructure and planning are something every city has to go through in life before laying any buildings. If you want to have a haphazard camp, do it. I usually do early on. But don't then complain it's sloppy later on. You don't need any T1 buildings later and only like 2 T2 buildings, so it's going to be a tear down and new build anyway.

I made a video a while ago showing building sizes and how to plan ahead

I will show you each building and how it compares in size to others to help with city planning and spacing.

Yeah, it would be nice if we could give a relocate order and your builders disassemble it for like 75% resources to reassemble wherever you want it.

I'd understand this argument if I could put down roads to help with the planning. But I don't have any mods or anything like that. So when I unlock new stuff I have to destroy and replace. Using temporary housing. When I first started out I didn't know how big things would get. It's gotten to the point where for t3 I'm probably going to just move all the way to the south and move my village down there since that's where a lot of flat open land is and all the high tier materials.

That's why I made that video

It's not just sizes, it shows how to use the sizes to measure for planning. And you probably should move for the endgame
