To summarize : if your bios is not updated , your current settings are not safe and will lead to instability and also degrade your new cpu.
update bios means power limit right? I already did no works for me
It means going to your motherboard vendor website , and downloading the latest bios to update your motherboard
the instruction can be found in the manual section of your motherboard support page
Note, if this is not the only game being unstable on your PC and you have tried other UE5 titles and you also tried to use the 125W profile, you need to RMA the CPU since it is likely damage from the overclock.
If you are worried about losing performance, RMA the entire platform and go for AMD instead.
I tested TEKKEN 8 and it works very well
I am suprised, It actually works!
Bruh, The game just changed from crashing every minute to crashing every hour. It is still crashes, I'm sad ....
@lusty flume @modern scaffold
So, did you update the bios?
What motherboard do you have?
Yeah I already update bios
Mine is Z790 Aous elite
Although the crashing cycle has become longer, it has not been completely fixed yet. It feels like it crashes every 20 to 30 minutes.
Make sure it's set on intel default
But the fact that updating your bios made the time between crashes longer , clearly shows that it is indeed the cpu
yeah I can agree with it
So Should I disable CEP or enable CEP?
You should have a Intel Default settings that you can select that will set all other settings
this will result in a loss of performance , but greater stability
Intel allowed Board Vendors to use unsafe settings and did not provide guideline because it allowed intel to win benchmark with those settings against the competitionb
okay I have checked no.2 and 3. I cannot understand how to do 1,4,5,6. but I will try them if there is more crash happens
Gigabyte and their absolute trash UEFI changelogs at it again.
What you shared is not a guide so it's confusing to the end user.
