Try searching for the file XINPUT_3.DLL in your system32 and syswow64 folder and delete them.

Xinput is part of dxredist June 2010 so you can download it from Microsoft or find it in ..\steamapps\common\SteamWorksShared\ _CommonRedist or thereabouts.
