#Formatting Error in Bullet Numbering

I have encountered a formatting issue within the chatbot interface where ordered list items are not displaying the correct incrementing numbers. All items in the list are labeled as "1." instead of the correct sequential order (1., 2., 3., etc.).

Please find attached two screenshots for your reference:

The first screenshot shows the incorrect bullet numbering in the chatbot interface.
The second screenshot displays the standard ChatGPT interface where the bullet numbering is shown correctly for comparison.

This formatting error may cause confusion and diminish the clarity of information presented to users. Could you please investigate and resolve this issue?

Could you also confirm if text formatting such as bold and italics is fully supported, and if there are any known formatting issues within the chat interface?

@pallid leaf can you copy the text of each output and share them here? Yes there are known issues with formatting lists, but not with emboldening text

and by copy i mean from the clipboard button

Sure. After using the clipboard button to copy the chat outputs, I've noticed that the numbering issue is not present when pasted into another application, see below—the list numbering appears correctly. It seems the problem might be isolated to how the numbers are rendered within the chat interface itself.

Sure! Here's a template that may help you organize the information for your onboarding manual:

  1. Introduction
  • Welcome message to new employees
  • Purpose of the manual
  • How to use the manual
  1. Company Overview
  • Brief history of the company
  • Mission, vision, and values
  • Organizational structure
  • Key contacts and departments
  1. Role and Responsibilities
  • Job title and description
  • Key tasks and expectations
  • Reporting structure

etc etc

Looks like Discord has its own weird list issues. Here's a screenshot of what it looked like before I posted:

selectors are ol and ul there are a lot of rules that may not be ideal and I admit vanilla CSS gets my least attention on the project
