When I first downloaded YARG and played some songs I had an animated venue but now it’s a black background. I’ve changed some settings and it seems one of them has gotten rid of the venue background.

you probably disabled all the background options on the general page in settings, otherwise you should at least be getting the pink and blue default background

It seems I did. I have toggled all of them off now, so they’re enabled. I see the pink and blue background when I play a song

Do you know how to get the band playing the music instead?

make sure it is installed from the launcher and that "disable global backgrounds" is not set

I had one installed and it didn’t work so I installed another one from the marketplace and that one works. Do you know how to switch between multiple venues?

it chooses randomly among the ones you have installed
you might try removing the one that isn't working (in the launcher) and re-adding it so it will redownload
