What OS? Can you post a log file for a session where this happened?
📄 How to find your YARG save/log data
You can find most of YARG's save and log data here:
- Windows:
C:\Users\<you>\AppData\LocalLow\YARC\YARG - Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/YARC/YARG - Linux:
~/.config/unity3d/YARC/YARG/release
Specifically important files:
- Persistent data (includes scores, profiles, replays, etc.)
- Logs (Contain debug information, useful for developers when diagnosing bugs or issues)
- badsongs.txt (Lists songs that can't be scanned into YARG)
Windows 11
In order fix the problem on a clone Hero song. I rename the drums.ogg to crowd.ogg then the drums work fine. since I don't care about crowd sounds , that works for me.
I like to be able to hear the drums slightly when playing drums to the songs.
I think you want to turn off "mute on miss" in the settings, then adjust drum stem volume
To be clear, that was indeed the intended behavior... if you were missing the notes for that instrument. (The stem is meant to cut out of the note is missed.)
Was that happening even when notes were being hit? If so, that's a bigger problem
Yes, I understand that is the intended behavior. My drums are not connected to the game, so I don't hit any notes, I just play my drums to the notes coming down the note highway. It is working as it should. I didn't realize there was that option in the settings. Thanks again. Yarg is awesome.
