nightly: guitar audio delay when whammy sfx is enabled in latest updates

what i will say is that whammy sfx is marked as an experimental feature, and it is known that it causes audio delay on some computers...
however, i don't know, maybe it got worse recently? or maybe it was always present and it just randomly happened to you just now? probably worth looking into if there were any changes related to this made recently

I've definitely been having this same issue, and only since the last nightly update. So, I'm probably just gonna disable that feature and wait until the next nightly update to see if it gets better.

I'm also really glad to see that i wasn't imagining this sudden change on my end.

it seems to me like there is an underlying issue that just gets amplified by the size of the fft window

because it was happening before that was merged too, just more rarely?/less noticably?
