Nightly or stable? I had problems with a Wii RB3 guitar on Fedora with YARG Stable but not Nightly
what platform is the guitar for?
stable on both the windows and linux boxes
PS3
you'll need the nightly version currently, yeah
nightly*
mistyped lol
there were fixes for this made a while back that haven't made it to stable yet
also make sure you've followed the Linux hidapi setup instructions in the GitHub page's readme
Are the windows and Linux versions not in feature parity?
Just wondering why it works ootb on windows then
I’m NOT on nightly on that box
input APIs are very different between platforms
Ah okay
and Unity's built-in input support is outright broken on Linux, at least in the version we're using
Ope, ya hate to see it
so we have to implement our own handling, but i've only gotten around to implementing hidapi so far
haven't had the time or energy to look into implementing evdev lol
and for full parity i'd also need to throw in a little libusb for Xbox 360/One stuff
since xpad doesn't expose any of the stuff needed to distinguish controller types last i checked
or provide a way to get the report as sent from the device
is there any fix for the launcher issue on windows yet
use a new thread for that, please
there is one made for it but no one answere
and asking in a random unrelated thread isn't gonna help much more with that unfortunately
ok
Thanks for all the help I’ll give nightly a try!
Welp my controller gave up the ghost before I could test nightly
