#Weird Background video stuttering

No matter what I do I cant seem to get the video backgrounds to loop correctly. Theres this weird stutter when the video ends and is supposed to loop. I have tried V Sync on and off, setting the fps cap to 60, both stable and the nightly version, and multiple different backgroudns. No matter what I do I can not get it to loop correctly. Any clues?

Does it loop correctly in a video player? Could be the video itself is slightly off.

yeah when I play it in other players, video loops just fine, it' just wigs out in yarg

sorry for the tag @woven steppe , I think I figured out a workaround and was wondering if you could test if this fixes the problem for you too?

this only happens to me when in "Borderless Fullscreen"

If you set it to "Fullscreen" it seemingly fixes the issue

Ill give it a try at some point, but I remember trying this and it not doing anything. But like I said, Ill try it out

I've also noticed 4k loops do this even on Full screen and 1080p ones don't , despite having a 5080

@mental pumice Finally tried it out. Re rendered the loop down to 1080 and used Fullscreen, still no fix

Can you try with vsync on?

V sync is off, same result

I was wrong and thought mine was fixed by changing to full screen but actually it was turning vsync on that helped.

Yeah this issues has been going on the whole time with v sync on
