Unnecessary: small splash text with a randomized goofy message under the logo on the title screen

Games like Clone Hero and Minecraft include randomized splash texts like these. This would be profoundly unnecessary, but they'd also be kind of cute and allow us to include little messages like "Don't eat the YARG gems!" or "We love open source!" or "Hot start!" or what have you to greet the player upon startup.

I guess some kind of limitation could be that someome has to be a verified developer before they're allowed to add to that list, otherwise it would be an auto-deny

Can also just have a spreadsheet with the quotes and only allow edit for some people, its easy to use it to retrieve from the list and even easier to update

even going to the pull request, checking if they're a verified dev and accepting or denying is a massive waste of our time for a splash text lol

I mean were this to exist at all, which again--it doesn't need to--it should be something fairly locked down so that people won't want to make PRs for super insignificant additions

if the text for the splash text is in a public repo it will get PRs no matter what

This would be too much work, just easier to have kinda like we have for OpenSource, one repo/spreadsheet and the game just pulls from it, give perms to a few devs/mods and we good
