What colors to assign for my EKit on the bindings menu.

can anyone tell me what cymbals and drums to assign to what colors?
i seem to be having a rough time given im very new to this. i have a Simmons SD1200 E-Kit

Snare - Red
Tom1 - Yellow Pad
Tom2 - Blue Pad
Tom3 (Floor Tom) - Green Pad
Hihat - Yellow Cymbal
Left Crash - Yellow Cymbal (debatable)
Ride - Blue Cymbal
Right Crash - Green Cymbal
Kick - Kick

any other tips for a beginner drummer for settings and calibration?

also the main reason i suggest mapping left crash as also yellow, is that a lot of left-handed crashes tend to be charted as such (i.e. kick+yellow+green cymbals from ttfaf intro)

also be sure to map all zones your pads/cymbals support

if you have something like snare head and rim, map both as red pad
ride edge, bow, bell, map all 3 as blue cymbal
(just examples)

if you don't, you may have random misses due to hitting unmapped zones

you can double map?? like i can set the multi triggers on the single cymbal as the same hit?

i couldn’t figure out how to do that because if i hit the cymbals on the other sections it wasn’t registering the hit

on the Binds menu, just hit Add New or whatever it's called (i don't have the game open atm)
