Using Windows, 0.12.6, and the new launcher beta. This has been discussed before, but not as its own bug AFAIK...
Sorting by playlist with Use Full Directory enabled puts the setlist and DLC in [unique ID]\installation -- which is the folder they're installed to, but it could be better. Custom playlist names defined in song.ini are prioritized over folder names, so maybe a similar thing could be done for .yargsongs?
(Before the new launcher, official songs showed up in Unknown Playlist.)

Hmm, we currently don't use the playlist variable in the song.ini, since the underlying assumption is that sorting by setlist/playlist is done by the icon. The sorting with the option "Use Full Directory" is more intended for custom setlists which only use folders and not icons or playlist names, I would think - the folder hierarchy itself is out of the hands of the setlist team
But we can definitely use the playlist variable if it serves as a fallback for the "Use Full Directory" sorting option
Okay, I think I understand what this sorting scheme is now - we'll look into adding a playlist name to take priority over the directory path
