#Buttons inputting twice in the menu

very odd, there shouldn't be anything in the game itself that causes this, no
Hm. Maybe a higher debounce setting? I've heard 25 is the highest you can go tho
anything higher than 25 ms probably isn't something you should just ignore
can you post a screenshot of your menu bindings? just as a sanity check
since you just say "buttons", i assume this is happening with all of them?
and not just the strum or something
My strum is actually fine lol, it's just the frets. I'll send that screenshot.
yeah that's quite unusual lol
sorry for all these screenshots lol don't know if there's a smaller menu somewhere
okay yeah, that looks all reasonable
I wonder if maybe framerate could be the issue? I play at 165 hz so not sure if that's why
FPS doesn't matter in YARG, input handling is threaded and all inputs are always processed
and the gameplay engine is FPS-independent
ah okay
i mean it's just a minor inconvenience lol, maybe ill figure it out. I'm not sure what else to do atp though.
thanks for your help though, appreciate it
it's certainly something that needs more thorough troubleshooting, bit difficult to do from my phone lol
yeah makes sense lol, if i ever figure something out ill reply here. gonna just deal with it for the night though lol
I also had this problem today, I started using my wiitar again and it did this
are you also using an RCM adapter?
Yes
also:
- what platform are you playing on?
- what mode is the guitar set to?
Linux and 5 fret guitar
I'm running my game through steam if that changes anything (steam input and all)
that's not what i was looking for on the second point, but that part's irrelevant on Linux
might be something i need to fix in our custom HID backend
@fervent burrow are you also on Linux?
Oh sorry 😅
Old ass post but if anyone searches this up, you have to change your debounce in the game itself lmao. I was doing it through the RCM software. Also, I did not realize that it was not just affecting me in the menus lol. It makes HOPOs (cause of anti-ghosting) nearly impossible to hit without using the GH1 method. I honestly thought that was just part of the engine lmao.
