Hello, I just got the game and wanting to play it with keyboard because I don't have a guitar but when I start a song the inputs don't register at all

Have you turned on the All Taps modifier ?

If not then the game is expecting you to strum as well as press the relevant coloured key

as in the strikeline is lighting up but ur not hitting the notes? or they arent lighting up at all?

ah ok so ur up/down keys is needed to play too

you can use All Taps, which can be found in the Modifier tab when choosing ur song
