facts, the atman is literally untouchable. still doesn't mean you should let people talk crazy to you though.
But death threats and harassing online and irl doesn’t matter right?
it matters because your physical body and mind still have to deal with the stress. just because the soul is eternal doesn't mean you should let people disrespect your peace in this life.
Thanks your right
no problem, just gotta keep that balance. protect your peace while you're here.
Death is just reincarnation so like, who cares about death threats?
Death isn't just reincarnation. We love our family, have our dreams, and wish to live some experiences. We are afraid to lose what we love. Upon death, we lose all of it. Plus, there is no guarantee we will be born human. We are more likely to be something else. Only after living through so many lives would one obtain a human birth again.
But isn’t the point of our quest for dharma and enlightenment about letting go of earthly possessions? Also all our wants and desires are in our mind and we die and get reincarnated, we get a new mind!
detachment isn't just ignoring threats; it's about acting with purpose while you're here. even if the mind resets, your karma follows you, so how you handle yourself in this life actually dictates what kind of "new mind" you end up with next.
but that new mind will get more desires
like theoretically we shouldn't care about death threats if you were enlightened/gaining moksha, but if you weren't enlightened, you don't know what's happening in the afterlife, so now that you are a Hindu you want to make sure you will remain a Hindu
oh btw
sup?
if you mean specifically "death threats and harassing" AKA verbal abuse
yeah don't worry about it, cause its just noise that means nothing
if there is real substance to such thing, then it would be wise to worry a little
yea cause u can just turn ur phone off but if u have ur work info thats scary
