Since I see that there is a focus on tweaking the game for the Steamdeck I thought to drop this one here;
While not Steamdeck specific, but outside steam on Linux, I been playing this game via wine (openSUSE Tumbleweed) and the game performs well, specially after the update before this latest one. I bought the game via GOG not steam and have been using Heroic Launcher along with Comet (Galaxy). I've been doing that with many games that have some type of online feature. However, with this game I cant access the leader boards and my GOG username is not even available whenever I look at the Career entry. All I see is the picture of some bird and instead of my username i see " Gaming Factory"
Some users have stated before that the Galaxy doesn't support online but I beg to differ, It does have some online functionality, at least to get data from your account. Games ** No Man Sky **(which I do play online with other people; maybe it connects to some other servers? not sure..), and there's this other one called Bang-on Balls (which gets my account info right at least). Probably, the issue lies with GOG only providing servers for lite stuff like account info, cloud saves, etc but not actual multiplayer hosting? either way there may be some sort of peculiarity as to how this is handled by the JDM game since like I said, it doesn't seem to have my account info whatsoever. I provided some screenshots of these games for comparisons' sake
Wine Version = Latest Proton (Tried Non Proton as well but same)
Heroic Launcher (Tried also with Galaxy Client via wine but still the same result)
- While I don't own the Steam version, I'm quite sure it displays the account info right, but If anyone on Linux does, please feel free to confirm weather it does or it doesn't.
