Hey, thanks for the feedback. Can you be more specific?

#

Like what exactly you mean by - 'dont turn it into a festival japan racer, we dont need a japan forza, we need a street racing game based in japan'.

#

Did you play the demo, or are you judging the gameplay by the old trailer?

#

gameplay

#

older gameplay just had a much nicer vibe to it

#

the saturation and contrast between things was very nice

#

the map didnt seem to have palm trees everywhere , which i know they are native to japan, just not everywhere

#

also the drifting just looked alot smoother and natural in older gameplay, the wheels didnt twitch back and forth, and the cars didnt wobble so much

#

i think maybe if u guys can fix those things about the physics, and make the grip tunes not understeer so much, the handling will be great, and a perfect blend between sim and arcade

#

i understand the game is more themed in the current day car scene, but try to make it a bit more hardcore when it comes to the aesthetic of the game

#

u guys should add a media channel, where we can send in real drifting videos from japan that you guys can take inspiration from

#

im pretty sure yall watch tons of it, but i think that would be a nice channel to add

The way you describes things, Seems like you prefer the S15 video over the RX-7 one, Right?

sour kernel
#

absolutely, i understand the rx7 is controller gameplay tho

zealous moth
#

I admit, The RX-7 one feels like it's played on controller

sour kernel
#

but i think the physics should be nice for both controller and wheel, and a solid physics model should mean that no matter what you are using to play, you can still get a similar experience

#

So you are playing on wheel, yes?

#

Which one?

sour kernel
#

no

#

controller

muted ore
#

But yes differences between the videos were the controller and the wheel. But the most important skill of the player, because on the demo was a pro simracer, and with that new gameplay, it was recorded by one of our team members, just to show new graphics.

#

i think what it is could be a sway bar issue that causes so much wobbling, and the option to adjust that could come in future updates and that would probably fix the issue easily

#

so like i said i will just stay tuned for more updates and hopefully you guys can see where im coming from

muted ore
#

about the wobble you mean the camera yes?

sour kernel
#

the car, it just wobbles back and forth, drifting is really twitchy

#

the camera is also something id like change, in previous builds of the game, it had some sway to it, and wasnt locked to the rear end of the car, maybe that camera angle could return to the game? or maybe custom camera settings in the future?

muted ore
#

There is some camera setting in the menu

#

Did you play the game?

The thing i can describes from this video, The old one (with S15) have more weight and smooth, It's kinda like a simulation like Assetto Corsa at some point. While the FD RX-7 looks twitchy as wobbly as it's featherweight. You prefer the more old "realistic feel" over the new arcadey one, Right?

sour kernel
#

can i make the camera like the one in the older builds of the game? if so i didnt know

sour kernel

#

ok

#

Did you try this options?

sour kernel
#

it doesnt have to be 100% like assetto but i think truly finding that balance between sim and arcade will be nice
